Dead Mama

Dead Mama is a musician, visual artist and sound engineer/editor for the film and TV industry. I first saw her work a few months ago on Instagram as she performed with guitar and #theremin. I also learned we shared a passion for old film. For this performance lit the set with two 16mm film projectors and reels from my collection of vintage film. The set has linen scrims to create a multi-planal projection and lighting surface and performance area.

Erin Incoherent

Erin Incoherent was handed a guitar by her uncle at age 11 and has never stopped playing. She is an accomplished musician, poet, and activist who brings passion, energy and authenticity to all of her work. Her career has taken her from coast to coast, touring with such bands as MDC Acoustic and The Vibrators.

Déjà Vu is Erin’s fourth album. Originally tracking was complete over the course of a few months but she decided it wasn’t good enough. Her and her producer (Flavine @ House of Robot) started over and spent a year working on Déjà Vu until she was satisfied. Music 360 Magazine noted, of the album, “The newest release from Erin Incoherent is another fantastic one. It’s a storytelling adventure from her perspective using her angelic voice and acoustic guitar as her tools.”

Erin was the headliner of my artist development program. Overall we spent over a year making her album, Déjà Vu. She lived and worked here full time for eight months.

Our work together was not only music production, but also video, live streaming performance and photoshoots.

Déjà Vu is out now on all streaming platforms (Spotify, Bandcamp). For CD, vinyl and merch visit http://store.erincoherent.com

Caleb Ray Walker

As part of my artist development program I have been working with Caleb for nearly a year. I saw Caleb perform locally and got to know him better during the Analog Trenton project.

Caleb’s work is a creative mix of humor, cleverness and insight. His songs are lighthearted but with and undercurrent of meaning that is revealed as you listen..

Caleb’s album will be coming out in early 2021.
